Literacy for the iGeneration

During our September 11 class, Allison Bosworth started the class off letting us know what we needed to do to for our field experience this semester.  Following this, we began talking about the readings that were due and we wrote down what we learned, what surprised us, and one question we had regarding the texts.  Next we took a break and when we returned, we had a class discussion about our thoughts on the readings.  After this, we went over the book options for the semester and we wrote our selections on the back of the paper we wrote our reflections on.  The final thing we did during the class included reading over “The Nature of Literacy” and going over reading tips.  Right before the end of class, we went over the next week’s assignment.
